About Advisory Board

The ABC France Advisory Board is established to provide strategic guidance, expertise, and support to further the mission and objectives of the organization. Comprised of honorary accomplished professionals and business experts, the Advisory Board plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction and initiatives of ABC France, ensuring its continued success and impact within the Franco-Afghan business community.

The mission of the ABC France Advisory Board is to provide counsel, insight, and strategic direction to ABC France, contributing to its growth, effectiveness, and relevance in fostering business connections and innovation between France and Afghanistan.

  1. Offer strategic guidance and recommendations on key initiatives, programs, strategies and policies of ABC France.
  2. Provide expertise, knowledge, and insights on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within the Franco-Afghan business landscape.
  3. Assist in identifying and prioritizing areas for growth, collaboration, and impact.
  4. Serve as ambassadors and advocates for ABC France, promoting its mission and activities within their respective networks and communities.
  5. Support the development and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance the effectiveness and reach of ABC France.
  1. The Advisory Board shall consist of up to 15 eminent personalities from diverse business and diplomatic backgrounds to provide a mix of expertise necessary for the organization.
  2. Members will serve for a two-year term with the possibility of renewal for a second two-year term.
  3. The Board Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons, shall be elected/appointed from among the Board members for a two-year term.
  1. Regular meetings: Conducted physically or virtually with over half of its members present.
  2. Chairperson role: Chairing meetings or delegating authority to Vice Chairs in their absence.
  3. Decision-making: Decisions based on majority votes; Chairperson’s vote decisive in case of a tie.
  4. Frequency: Meetings held quarterly, with emergency meetings convened based on Chairperson’s recommendation and approval of over half of the Board members.
  5. Minutes: Proceedings and resolutions minutely recorded, circulated, and formally approved in subsequent meetings.
